THE ONSLOW'S OWN PROJECT- SHAPIRO REAL ESTATE GROUP
Shapiro Real Estate Group
As a business, Covid has slowed the flow of business down. My approach to real estate is sheer word of mouth and organic, so I have several military clients that are playing the waiting game which puts me on hold as well. So the positive thing it has allowed me to restructure my business to fortify systems and tools that are pandemic proof.
I didn’t have to close my doors thankfully, however I needed to be understanding of sellers who did in lieu of the pandemic.
What brought me joy during this times been my faith in GOD and my pursuit of him has kept me in good spirits. Being able to continue to be creative in ministry at my church, as well as a new podcast. My biggest fear is that people will consider this a new norm and get comfortable with this way of life. Real estate is fluid and without mobility, real estate is still. Now that the county is slowly re-opening, we maintain the shop local and really dig in to supporting local small business.
My business means everything. It’s how I connect to my community, support my family, church, schools, sports. I literally work to serve. So as long as I can be available to these sectors my business is everything.
I have already been a pretty digital and tech centric business. This has allowed me to hone in on what is important and fortify my needs and wants.
Small business is the fabric of America and if we don’t show continued support we will lose the benefits of it. We shop, live, create, support, every aspect of the community and without small businesses we as a community will not be able to advance a continued progress for generations to come.
