In the beginning of COVID-19 we began to panic right away, once our Governor decided to closed all dining rooms, including outside seating. Not having a game plan to what’s to come or how we were going to stay afloat. Then a brilliant Innovative idea came to us, CURBSIDE. We were definitely new at it and not used to doing something as such. But we were able keep our doors open after the mandate was to closed.
We were able to actually stay open and be more innovative during COVID 19 with curbside and delivery services.
Personally, the customers who had to adjust to the new normal for awhile, we were able to renovate our store and still serve our guest. Met so many new customers during the pandemic, that really kept us going. Even the customers who didn't want to buy anything but because we were a small business they wanted to donate money just because they understood how small businesses were being affected.
The biggest fear during the COVID 19 was being able to keep our doors open after all of this. Granted we were very blessed to see an increase in our sales.
Now that the county is slowly re-opening, I would say I’m hopeful that all across our city that people will support more of their local businesses.
YoBreZ Frozen Dessert Bar has had some good days, bad days, crying days, prayerful days, but through it all God has kept his hand on us. When you come to YoBreZ the atmosphere is different from any other shop, with positive and inspirational energy. That’s the goal everyday is to get up and lift people spirits up. We are a blessed company because we keep God at the center of our attention.
Now that businesses are allowed to reopen, we are no longer a self serving bar. We are more of a restaurant ice cream bar. We had implemented how we serve you, now you come to our store and you will be seated and will give you menu and serve you at your table.
